Chief's Advisory Committee

Position-Chief’s Advisory Committee

Job Duties

The Amherstburg Police service are interested in individuals from the Amherstburg Community to serve on the “Chief’s Advisory Committee.” This committee will have the mandate to discuss any issues the community needs addressing including, but not limited to:

  • special needs individuals
  • business concerns

At present, a committee of 10-12 individuals is desirable. We are looking for individuals who have special knowledge or skills which they believe would provide a unique and innovative manner to address any issues in the Town of Amherstburg. Working directly with the Chief of Police and the Deputy, this group will outline any problem areas and present possible solutions to those problems.
