TAX DUE DATES
Property taxes are due the last business day of February, April, July and October.
TOWN OF AMHERSTBURG 2012 TAX BILLS
The Interim 2012 tax bills will be mailed out the beginning of February 2012. Due dates for this billing will be February 29 and April 30 2012.
The bills will be sent out directly through Canada Post. Owners with more than one property will receive their tax bills individually. The cost associated with householding, or sorting the bills with common owners is significant; however, we will continue to monitor this process with the goal to have this functionality available in the future.
You may also view your account online through the Town website at www.amherstburg.ca by clicking on the iCitizen link under the Residents Section at anytime. Have your roll number and PIN number which is printed on your interim tax bill, available to access your account information.
Failure to receive the tax notice does not relieve the property owner of their obligation to pay taxes and / or interest incurred.
