Enjoy Culture Days in Amherstburg! Downtown becomes a cultural adventure with live music, market, art demos, and hands on activities for the kids! Stroll through the Kings Navy Yard Park and be inspired by local artists or become one! Paired with these artistic demonstrations is the Rendezvous 2017! Experience early French-Canadian and Aboriginal culture that was prevalent in Essex County through the 18th century. During the weekend visitors can taste period cooking, experience presentations and demonstrations relating to the iconic fur trade era. Highlights will feature various canoes, Montreal boats and other period vessels recreating a historic Rendezvous. See the itinerary schedule and times to plan your day.
