Lost and Found Pets

The Town of Amherstburg provides Animal Control Services through the Windsor Essex County Humane Society (WECHS). They respond to calls regarding stray dogs, injured dogs and dogs at large.

In the event that your dog goes missing and is registered with the Town of Amherstburg an Animal Control Officer will attempt to contact you if it has been successfully retrieved. We aim to reunite owners with their dogs as a result of our Dog Licensing Program.

Visit the Dog Licenses Page
