2022 Municipal Election

Municipal elections in Ontario are held every four years on the fourth Monday of October.  The next municipal election will be held Monday, October 24, 2022. The last municipal election was held on October 22, 2018.

Am I on the Voters List?

To verify if you are, the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) has launched, an online service used to collect and confirm information that will be used in preparation of the final Voters' List. Click the button below for more information:

Amherstburg residents can find out the following information from

  • Find out if you are on the voters list for the upcoming municipal election & school board election
  • Confirm and add your information - ensure your information is accurate and up-to-date 
  • Change your school support for electoral purposes

To verify you are on the Voters List you will need the following info:

  • Property address OR assessment roll number
  • Your full name
  • Your date of birth


NOTE:  Information collected using is provided to municipalities in the Preliminary List of Electors for the sole use of preparing the final Voters’ List for the upcoming municipal and school board elections. MPAC takes privacy seriously. Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act requirements state that information shared with MPAC for electoral proposes may only be shared with other electoral agencies.
