2018-2022 Term of Boards and Committees

 

Applications are welcome from eligible residents of the Town of Amherstburg who wish to have their name considered for appointment to the following Boards & Committees for the 2018-2022 Term:

  • Dangerous Dog Appeal Committee - seeking three (3) members to hear appeals of designations of dangerous dogs by the Town of Amherstburg By-law Enforcement Division in accordance with the Municipal Act and By-law 2009-57.

The deadline to receive applications is October 4th at 4:30 p.m.  

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

 

  • be a tenant or owner of land in the Town of Amherstburg, or the spouse of such owner or tenant
  • be 18 years of age or older (excluding the Mayor’s Youth Advisory Committee)
  • have a demonstrated expertise, interest, and involvement in the sector(s) of the specified board
  • fairly represent the sector(s) of the specified board
  • commit the time required to work on the Board/Committee

All submissions will be accepted by the undersigned by mail, facsimile, hand delivery, email, or electronic submission via the website.  Application forms are also available at Town Hall, 271 Sandwich Street South.
