Grand Opening of New Playground at Co-An Park

The Towns of Amherstburg and Essex are proud to celebrate the grand opening of the newly upgraded playground and accessible pathway at Co-An Park, located at 11071 Concession Road 11 in McGregor.

The refreshed playground features new, modern equipment designed for safe play, while the accessible pathway ensures easier movement throughout the park for everyone, including those using mobility devices or strollers. 

This project is the result of strong collaboration between the Town of Amherstburg and the Town of Essex, showcasing the positive impact of working together for the benefit of the shared community. Special thanks go out to the Co-An Park Board, the Accessibility Advisory Committees from both municipalities, municipal staff, and community partners who contributed their time, expertise, and feedback to help shape the final design.

Residents are invited to come out and enjoy the beautiful new space in McGregor, perfect for play, and outdoor fun!
