Nominations Open for Amherstburg’s Environmental Stewardship Awards

The Town of Amherstburg’s Environmental Advisory Committee is proud to announce the return of the Environmental Stewardship Awards – an initiative that celebrates local champions who are making a meaningful impact on our environment.

Now accepting nominations until August 2025, the awards recognize individuals, businesses, and not-for-profit organizations that demonstrate exceptional commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship within the Town of Amherstburg.

Whether it’s reducing waste, conserving natural resources, promoting biodiversity, or leading community education and engagement, nominees should exemplify leadership in creating a greener future.

Nomination Categories Include:

• Individual Residents

• Local Businesses

• Not-for-Profit or Community Organizations

Residents are encouraged to nominate themselves or others who are making a difference through innovative practices or ongoing environmental efforts.
