Outdoor Accessibility Fest-For-All Comes to Amherstburg

The County of Essex Accessibility Advisory Committee (ECAAC) invites the public to its second annual Outdoor Accessibility Fest-For-All, taking place Friday, September 12, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Libro Credit Union Centre in Amherstburg

This year marks the first time the event will be hosted in Amherstburg, offering a dynamic day of inclusive programming, entertainment, and awareness-building activities. The free, family-friendly celebration is designed to promote accessibility and inclusion for people of all ages and abilities.

Attendees can look forward to: More than 40 information booths, and interactive exhibits. A baseball game featuring the Amherstburg Miracle League, celebrating athletic inclusion. An exhibition sledge hockey match by the Windsor Ice Bullets in the accessible arena at the Libro Centre. Demonstrations including fitness by Suesanity Pound Fitness and adaptive yoga by From the Ground Up.

Additional attractions such as music, giveaways, and opportunities to connect with local accessibility advocates, service providers, and businesses.

The Libro Credit Union Centre offers free parking, accessible washrooms, and dedicated sensory-friendly spaces to ensure a welcoming environment for all participants.
