Pickleball Courts Grand Opening

Celebrate the grand opening of Amherstburg's newest pickleball courts located at the Libro Credit Union Centre on Saturday, June 21st at 10:00am.

The facility features 8 dedicated pickleball courts, offering a vibrant new space for residents of all ages to get active, connect with others, and enjoy one of Canada's fastest-growing sports. The public is invited to attend the celebration, which will include an official ceremony, remarks from local officials, a chance to  watch professional demonstrations and to try out the new courts.

“We’re excited to invite the community to enjoy this new facility,” said Mayor Michael Prue. “With pickleball’s popularity on the rise, these courts represent our dedication to providing quality recreational spaces that support active living and bring people together.”

This event was made possible through collaboration between the Town of Amherstburg, the Amherstburg Pickleball Association (APA), and the support of local pickleball enthusiasts who have championed the development of this facility.
