Reminder: Summer Student Lottery deadline is approaching

The Town of Amherstburg is reminding students that the deadline to apply for the 2026 Summer Student Lottery is fast approaching. Students interested in gaining valuable work experience while contributing to the local community are encouraged to submit their applications before the deadline.

The Summer Student Program offers employment opportunities across several municipal departments, including Parks, Roads, Tourism, Water, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). These positions provide students with hands-on experience, skill development, and insight into municipal operations, while working alongside experienced staff.

If you are between the ages of 16-30 as of May 1, 2026 and returning to school in September 2026, apply today and build skills, make connections, and help shape an amazing summer in Amherstburg!
