Amherstburg Uncommon Festival is back September 19-21, transforming downtown Amherstburg into a world of steampunk, wizardry, and “uncommon” fun for all ages. Named one of Festivals and Events Ontario’s Top 100 Festivals in 2025, this one-of-a-kind celebration brings a lineup of thrilling performances, interactive experiences, and magical moments.
This year’s festival features a collection of unique entertainers sure to wow audiences:
• Steve Goodtime – Don’t miss his comedic steampunk opera. This highly entertaining show blends music, comedy, and the wonderfully weird.
• The Charming Cheat – Be mystified by a magical show filled with wacky inventions, captivating illusions, and clever tricks.
• Lucky Barber Show - Dad Jokes & Danger! Juggling comedy act combining physical comedy, cigar box manipulation, crowd interaction, and a jaw-dropping finale.
In addition to these headlining acts, visitors can look forward to:
• Uncommon Fireworks on the Saturday evening, sponsored by J&J Marine Ltd.
• Costume Contests with a total of $2000 in prizes, sponsored by HRYCAY.
• Wizard Academy for young festivalgoers to unleash their creativity by making wizardry-inspired crafts in our magical workshop, sponsored by WFCU Credit Union.
• Enjoy a game of wacky glow golf, sponsored by EverJonge Homes Ltd.
• Free transit service between Windsor and Amherstburg during the festival on Transit Windsor Route 605, sponsored by BR Consulting Solutions.
• Vendors, roaming characters, bingo, live art installations, and games throughout the weekend.
