Watermain Break - Canal Street

UPDATE: Water service has now been restored in the Edgewater neighbourhood following the watermain break on Canal Street. Residents are asked to run their cold water taps until the water runs clear. Thank you for your patience while crews completed repairs

The Town is responding to a watermain break on Canal Street in the Edgewater neighbourhood. Municipal crews are currently onsite undertaking repairs.

Residents in the lower-lying areas of the Edgewater neighbourhood will experience a temporary water service disruption for several hours. This includes: Canal Street, Dot Street, Centre Street, Shangri-La Street, and Wolfe Island.

Please avoid the area while repairs are underway. 

Once water service is restored, residents are asked to run their cold water taps until the water runs clear.
