2026 Election: Nomination period open until August 21, 2026
Thinking about running in the 2026 Municipal Election? Nominations for the Town of Amherstburg close August 21 at 2:00 PM. Positions available include Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Councillors, and School Board Trustee.
Nominations must be filed in person at the Town Hall, 271 Sandwich St. S. Electronic submissions will not be accepted. Appointments for nominations are preferred but not required. To schedule an appointment, Email the Clerks Office or call 519-730-2128.
