Amherstburg Competes for Live Concert in SiriusXM Music Town Finals
Amherstburg has officially been named a finalist in the national SiriusXM Music Town search, rising to the top 8 from more than 470 communities across Canada. This exciting recognition celebrates towns with vibrant community spirit, strong local pride, and a passion for live music.
As a finalist, Amherstburg is now in the running to win a free live concert by the award-winning Canadian band, The Beaches, right here in town. The SiriusXM Music Town program aims to shine a spotlight on communities that rally behind music and connection, and Amherstburg’s enthusiasm and creativity have put us in the national spotlight.
How You Can Help Amherstburg Win
The winning towns will be chosen based on a combination of votes, rally points, and nomination stories.
- Vote Daily: Visit musictown.siriusxm.ca/amherstburg and cast your vote once per day until Friday, October 24, 2025. Each vote helps move Amherstburg closer to the top spot!
- Earn Extra “Rally” Points: Boost Amherstburg’s chances by posting on social media!
- Share a photo or video showing off a local venue, your favourite business, or a spot you think The Beaches should visit.
- Tag @SiriusXMCanada and make sure to mention “Amherstburg” in your caption or video.
- Each tagged post earns rally points that count toward Amherstburg’s total.
