Celebrate Canada Day with family fun, music and a fireworks finale!

Join us in Amherstburg this Canada Day for a full day of family-friendly fun, live entertainment, and community spirit along our waterfront.
Taking place in Toddy Jones Park and King’s Navy Yard Park, our downtown will come alive with activities starting at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, July 1 with the Canada Day 5K Race. Throughout the day, you can enjoy heritage demonstrations at Fort Malden National Historic Site, along with food vendors, face painting, free cupcakes, recreational programming, live performances, and a family-friendly scavenger hunt.
The celebration continues into the evening with a live concert in King’s Navy Yard Park featuring Bethany D’Alimonte and the Adam Butcher Band, followed by a fireworks display over the Detroit River. Made possible by J&J Marine, the fireworks are best viewed from King’s Navy Yard Park.
We thank Heritage Canada, our event partners, volunteers, and community supporters for helping make this celebration possible. Wear your red and white and celebrate Canada Day with us in Amherstburg!
