Cycle the Burg set to roll August 14-16

A new cycling festival is gearing up to make its debut in Amherstburg this weekend, bringing three days of activity, entertainment, and community spirit to the downtown core.

Cycle the Burg, presented by the Windsor Essex Bike Community (WEBC), will take place August 14 to 16, 2026. The event is part of Amherstburg’s Open Air themed weekends and is expected to draw cyclists and visitors of all ages and skill levels.

Festivities begin Friday, August 14, highlighted by a Krusher BMX Stunt Show at 7 pm. Visitors can also enjoy live music, local restaurants, patios, and vendors throughout the evening.

In addition to cycling activities, the festival will feature professional BMX stunt shows, live music and DJs, local food and patios, and a wide range of vendors and businesses.

The event aims to highlight Amherstburg as a destination for outdoor recreation and community-focused events.
