National AccessAbility Week Flag Raising Ceremony

National AccessAbility Week (May 31 - June 6, 2026) celebrates the leadership, achievements, and contributions of persons with disabilities in building stronger, more inclusive communities. This year's National AccessAbility Week theme is "Building a Strong, Accessible Canada."

The public is invited to join the flag raising ceremony, taking place on Wednesday, June 3 at 10:00am at the Libro Credit Union Centre Fieldhouse (3295 Meloche Rd.).

The flag raising will coincide with Red Shirt Day, a national initiative to raise awareness for accessibility and inclusion. 

Guests are encouraged to wear red as a visible show of support!
