Truth & Reconciliation Gathering is Tomorrow
The community is invited to join Ska:na Family Learning Centre tomorrow (Saturday, September 26), for a Truth and Reconciliation gathering, beginning at 12:00 pm. Learn and listen from Elders and motivational speakers from the community. Children’s activities will take place at the teepee, and Indigenous vendors will be in the park selling products.

GINDAASDAA Circle
2:00 pm - River Bookshop
The GINDAASDAA Circle is a book club focusing on Indigenous authors who’ve written about Indigenous Knowledge, Reconciliation and Worldviews. GINDAASDAA (Ghin-daahs-daah) means ‘looking at something together and learning from it’ in the Ojibwe language. September's book is Sons of Tecumseh, written by Maurice Switzer. Meet Maurice at River Bookshop during the gathering starting at 2:00 pm.
