Angstrom Park

This park is named after Lawrence Carlton Angstrom, former owner of the property and a prominent citizen of Anderdon Township. Angstrom served in WWI. This is a .13 ha Regional Special Purpose park. The Wyandotte Cemetery abuts the site to the north along with a large outflow pipe drain.

Parks Master Plan enhancements: A welcoming waterfront space with a scenic outlook featuring benches, shelter, and a flexible plaza for leisurely viewing the waterfront. Angstrom Park includes a pollinator meadow and native shoreline vegetation to enhance character, ecology, and safety. Interpretive signage shares Indigenous history of the site. Open lake views ensure clear sightlines. A striking, geometric park trail connects the waterfront to the parking lot across the road.
