The lands are under order through the Ministry of Environment Conservation and Parks (MECP) and no mow zones that are protected. The public is not permitted to enter these lands.

The design update reflects basketball multi-purpose courts, an Ultimate Frisbee field, a splashpad, and an off-leash dog park. Picnic tables, game tables, and park benches are distributed throughout. A central shelter and washrooms provide shade and convenience to families. Parking is expanded and relocated for convenience. A looped granular path connects park areas, trees and pollinator meadows will enhance the landscape. The park aims to be accessible, sustainable, and a hub for all ages to enjoy.
