Bill Wigle Park and Austin Toddy Jones Park are transformed into a Civic space that emphasized gathering, events, and celebratory activities. Connections to the waterfront, downtown and fort Malden are strengthened, and a central promenade surrounding a water feature lead to a new playscape, splashpad and washroom building. A contemporary pavilion can be used for shade, performances or exhibits. The new layout adds 10 additional parking spaces. Although the parks are joined they can remain as separate parks, Bill Wigle being more civic and Austin Toddy Jones Park being more playful.
